The Weight Challenge

Electric vehicles are naturally heavier than their internal combustion counterparts due to the battery pack. In endurance racing, this weight penalty affects tire wear, braking performance, and agility.

Our Approach

We are fighting the weight by:

  1. Structural Battery Integration: Making the battery pack part of the chassis structure.
  2. Lightweight Materials: Extensive use of carbon fiber and composites.
  3. Optimized Cooling: Reducing the weight of cooling systems through efficient design.

Join us as we engineer our way to a lighter, faster future.

  • Can an Electric Car Win GT3 at Le Mans with LMH Lap Times?

We asked a different question: Even with charging, can an electric car win the GT3 class? Under very specific conditions, the answer is yes.

  • Fight with the Weight

One of the biggest challenges in electric racing is weight. Batteries are heavy, and in a performance setting like Le Mans, every gram counts. We explore how we are tackling this challenge through innovative lightweight materials and structural battery integration.
